The parish of Alambakkam was installed on 23.05.1941.It was bifurcated from the parish of Vadugarpet.The first parish priest was Fr.M.S.Antony.people are strong and study.The parish witnessed a steady growth in education,culutre and cultivation.Priests and people maintain healthy relationship.We have five diocesan priests working in the native diocese.and there are six religious priests,three clenitians,two capuehiens and one henapols of good news.There are several vocations to women religious life.In short it is a Hourishing parish.
