Brief History
Our Lady Of Refuge.Parish of Ammanpettai is 75 years old in the year 2007.Manalur,presently a substation of Ammanpettai parish was the parish before 1932.Manalur Parish was divided into two parishes in 1932,namely,Ammanpettai and Vadagari.
At present we have 15 substations.Sevite sisters are serving in the parish.There are two primary schools one in Ammanpettai,another in Thiruvissanallur. In memory of the platinum Jubilee of the parish,our parish school was ubgrated into a high school in 2007.All the three schools are Named After St.Josephs.
